Who we are
Glowable.ai is operated by JCJP Limited ("Glowable", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14991841), registered office 5 Pebble Close, Amington, Tamworth, Staffordshire, England, B77 4RD. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question, email [email protected].
What this policy covers
This policy explains how we handle personal data of people who visit glowable.ai, talk to our AI assistant here, or contact us. If you are a Glowable customer, the personal data of your website visitors that we process on your behalf is governed by the Data Processing Agreement in our Terms of Service, where you are the controller and we are your processor.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you request a preview, join the Starter waitlist, or chat with our AI assistant, we collect what you choose to share. That typically includes your name, work email, website, role, and the content of your messages.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and security providers log technical data such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you view. We use essential browser storage to run the assistant and remember your session.
Cookies and similar storage. Essential storage is always on so the site and the assistant work. Optional analytics and marketing cookies stay off until you accept them in our cookie banner or cookie preferences. With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, and the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure and improve our advertising. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time.
Cookies and tracking
We use the following categories of cookies and similar storage:
- Essential (always on) — needed to run the site and the agent and to remember your cookie choice.
- Analytics (off until you allow them) — Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how the site is used, using cookies such as _ga and _ga_*.
- Marketing (off until you allow them) — the Meta (Facebook) pixel measures and improves our advertising, using cookies such as _fbp.
You choose your cookies in the banner shown on your first visit, and can change them at any time via "Cookie Preferences" in the footer. We also respect recognised browser opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control. To opt out of advertising more broadly, use your Meta ad preferences and tools such as youradchoices.com.
Talking to our AI assistant
The chat on this site is powered by AI. When you use it, we process your messages to answer you and to improve the assistant. Please don't share sensitive personal information in the chat that you wouldn't want processed this way. The assistant can hand you to a human when that helps.
How we use your data
- To answer your questions and respond to your enquiry.
- To send you what you asked for, such as a preview or waitlist updates.
- To set up and run the service if you become a customer.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website and the assistant.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Automated decisions and profiling
Our AI assistant assesses how interested a visitor is so it can prioritise leads and decide when to bring in a human. We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you by solely automated means, and a member of our team is involved before we act on a lead.
Marketing communications
If you join a waitlist or ask us to keep you updated, we may send you related emails. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by emailing [email protected]. We only send marketing where we have your consent or are otherwise permitted to.
Legal bases (UK GDPR)
We rely on: your consent (for example, optional analytics); our legitimate interests in running, securing, and improving our service and responding to enquiries; performance of a contract where you are a customer; and legal obligation where the law requires it.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the service providers that help us operate, each acting on our instructions under contract. These fall into categories such as website hosting and infrastructure, content delivery and security, the platform that powers our AI assistant, form and email delivery, the AI model provider behind the assistant, and, where you consent, analytics and advertising providers. We may also disclose data where the law requires it, to establish or defend legal claims, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business (we will tell you if that happens). We do not sell your personal data. A current list of the specific providers we use is available on request.
International transfers
Some of our providers are based outside the UK and EEA, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we use providers that offer a safeguard recognised under UK data protection law for the data they process on our behalf, such as a UK adequacy decision, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum and Standard Contractual Clauses. We rely on these providers' own transfer safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. As a general rule, enquiry and contact data is kept for 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we need to keep it longer to meet a legal or accounting obligation.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data, and you can object to or restrict some processing or withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We aim to respond within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity first. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.
Children
Glowable is a business product and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to notify you and the regulator of a breach where the law requires.
Third-party links
Our site and the assistant may link to third-party websites and services we don't control. We're not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please review their own policies.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will make significant changes clear.
